Born and raised in Boulder, I have a zest for traveling the world, studying cultures, and understanding how people live. Twenty years ago, I began applying this curiosity to the mortgage industry with a desire to help home buyers navigate the complex lending system. As a young homeowner, I had found the buying experience overwhelming, while simultaneously understating its significance. So much so, that I decided to make mortgages my profession.
I believe everyone should own a home, so I patiently and diligently work to provide customized solutions to help individual clients realize this goal. Buying a house is likely the largest financial decision a client will make in their lifetime. It is my job to make the financial side of this endeavor informative and easy to understand.
My professional career has been a colorful journey. I earned a degree in Horticulture and spent ten years working with developmentally disabled adults. Since my start in the mortgage industry in 2001, I have helped thousands of satisfied clients secure mortgage financing.
I worked for some great mortgage companies over the years and decided to work with the current Boulder team based on how we treat our clients. The management team has fine-tuned the lending process, where communication through all stages is key.
Learning, sharing, and performing in this industry has allowed me to serve on the Homeownership Committee for the City of Boulder’s Division of Housing to help guide affordable home purchasing policies, receive the Five Star Mortgage Professional designation for twelve years running, and accept Boulder Area Realtors Association’s Affiliate of the Year award.
My 14-year-old twin boys have turned me into a baseball fanatic, so you may see me cheering for Baxter and Cooper from the stands. I may also be clapping at my 15-year-old daughter Ella’s volleyball games. When my husband Darrell (Fairview Knight and teacher) and I are not traveling, gardening, or cooking with the kids, you will find us kayaking or walking our two English bulldogs, Aggie and Winston.
