Entering the mortgage industry in the mid-90s, Melissa has worn every hat in the lending process from receptionist to mortgage banker. Her time as a Realtor and Business/Life Coach has enriched her ability to clearly guide clients through the decision-making process. She loves helping people get from where they are to where they want to be with grace and ease.

Melissa finds immense joy in assisting clients with what is often their most significant investment — their home. She even created events and a self-development course titled, “Cultivate Joy, the art of living ambitiously content.” Her contentment has been found by building lasting relationships through real estate and having clients return for future transactions. Her next book, “Cultivate Joy, how to create a life and business you love in real estate” speaks to this passion, from the lending to purchasing sides.

Family drew Melissa back to Colorado in 2019, after she founded a marketing agency in Virginia and led a mortgage company in California. Throughout her work journey, she always strives to simplify and enhance each client’s experience, ensuring that it’s as seamless as possible.

Lessons of the garden have expanded Melissa’s ability to coach her kids as well as her clients. She’s become an expert in raised garden beds and takes each layer of the growing season to heart and to page, as the inspiration for her books and her legacy.

When Melissa is not immersed in nature, featured as a guest speaker, or meeting with clients, she volunteers for groups that advance women empowerment, help end domestic violence, and bring attention to human trafficking. Spending time outdoors, and holding space for quality conversations, balances her every day.
